She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Johnson and Alfreida Johnson (Bell); her stepmother Gwen Achterberg; her husbands, Roger Achterberg, Paul Shaw, Steven Lee and Jimmy Lee; and her brothers-in-law, Wayne and Russell Achterberg.

She is survived by: her sons, Gary Achterberg (Kimberly) of Beaver Dam and Eugene Achterberg of Marshall; her sisters, Myrtle Calkins of Pardeeville and Sharon Wright of Watertown; her stepdaughters, Pam Seipel, Terry Bilkey (Mike), Peggy Childs (Rick), Patti Rose (Jeff) and Jackie Shaw; and her pet Prince. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
