Alice Welsh Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2022, at the age of 70, Alice Welsh of Portage, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Eldore and Lucille Messerschmidt (Senkpiel); her mother-in-law Shirley J. Welsh; her sister Judy; her brother-in-law David Roegge; and her nephew Matthew Roegge.

She is survived by: her husband Peter Welsh; her children, Ryan Welsh (Laura), Marc Welsh, Tiffany Welsh and Melissa Kampmeier (Josh); her grandchildren, Julia, Anna, Sean, Zoey and Kendall; her siblings, Eldore Messerschmidt, Jr. (Dawn), Mark Messerschmidt (Joy), Lois Wahrle (Dennis), Phyllis Schneider (Robert) and Phil Messerschmidt (Rhonda); and her father-in-law William Welsh. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, dear in-laws, other relatives and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church for devotional materials.
