She was predeceased by: her mother Theresa Pierringer; her husband Emil Schanen; and her half-brother Gerald Pierringer. She is survived by: her children, Paul Schanen (Ann) of DePere, WI, Mary Ann Johnson (Sam) of Capitola, CA and Michelle Roden (Paul) of Cedarburg; her grandchildren, Patricia White (late John), Susan Petrofske (Tim), Steven Schanen, Christine Abusaidi, Mike Johnson (Angela), Julie Longmire (Lance), Nicole Roden (Lucas), Emily Roden (Jared) and Eric Roden; and her great grandchildren, Sydney, AliKhan, Arman, Amir, Nathan, Thomas, Luke and Cooper. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated, to be used for a park bench in Lois's name on her favorite bluff, and a charity to be determined.
