He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nic Bley and Helen Kleckner Bley; his children, Bley Builders, Linda Gebert (Steve) of Beavercreek, Ohio, Mary Bley of Port Washington, Paul Bley (Natalie) of Falls Church, Virginia and Amy Bley of Waukesha; his grandchildren, Julie Hansen (Esben), Holly Gebert (Paul Sehzue), Melanie Gebert, John Francetic and Eleanor Tobin Griffin; his great grandchildren, Lucas and Camilla Hansen; his brother Nic Bley (Pat); his wife Joan; his sisters, Mary Ellen Niederkorn and Eileen Redig; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Niederkorn, Walter Redig, William Krier, Wilmer, Ruth Hames, Lee, Patricia Hames, Hallie and Beatrice Newlun. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight or the Port Washington Historical Society.
