He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Bichler and Lorena Bichler; his son Joseph; his siblings, Alice Kolbach (late Walter), Harold and Richard; and his sister-in-law Shelby Bichler.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Klein of Port Washington; his children, Gary Bichler (Claire) of Belgium, Debra Miller (Tim) of Belgium, Patti Bichler of Waukesha and Paul Bichler of Chandler, AZ.; his grandchildren, Heather Meinen (Luke), Emily Dornburg (Kenny), Shawn Miller and Ali Bichler (Tony Maher); his great grandchildren, Myla, Orion, Penny, Skye, Jules and Brooks; his brother David Bichler of Raleigh, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Bichler (late Harold) of Wheaton, IL, Marge Bichler (late Richard) of Port Washington, Joseph Klein (late Marilyn), Norbert Klein (late Beverly) and Elvira Paulus (late Edward). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Divine Savior Catholic School or the Melvin Wester American Legion Post, Belgium.
