He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil J. Erickson and Helen Lola Hayes Erickson; his son James Erickson Jr.; his siblings, Linda Erickson and Michael "Doc" Erickson; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Kultgen, Mike and Paul Kultgen.
He is survived by: his wife Sally J. Kultgen; his daughter Tammy Erickson of Random Lake; his grandsons, James "JC" Erickson III, Brandon Erickson and Zachary Rohr; his great grandchild Damien Erickson; his sisters-in-law, Bonnie Erickson and Marlene Kultgen (late John); and also Kathy Wendt (late Harold). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
