He was predeceased by: his parents, William Swart Sr. and Mable "Marie" Swart; his wife Florence Eileen Edwards; his brothers, Robert and Richard; his daughter Marla; his daughter-in-law Tammy; and his son Alvin.
He is survived by: his sons, Wayne Swart (Jill) of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and Roger Swart (Adonna) of Cross Plains, Wisconsin; his close friend JoAnn Schober; his sisters-in-law, Betty Swart and Geraldine Swart; and his grandchildren, Trevor Swart (Amy), Tyler Swart, Tana Kuhlow (Adam), Faith, Dustin Orton (Christina Gliedt), Tony Swart (Sara), Alex Swart (Patty), Brooke Peterson (Ryan), Lucas Swart (Abigail) and Megan Swart (Jake Haynes). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
