She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Curtis and Wilda Curtis (Sampson); her husband Alvin J. Grimm; her sons, Gary W. Grimm (Dorothea) and Thomas W. Grimm; her daughter-in-law Mary Grimm of Oconomowoc, WI; her grandchildren, Laura Smith (Brian) of Palmetto, FL, Rosanna Bateman (Ron), Julie Till (Brian) and Wayne Grimm (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Miranda, Garrick Bateman, Olivia and Josephine Grimm; her brothers, Ralph Curtis (Rita) and Merle Curtis (Velma); her son Robert; and her siblings, Hannah Stephens (George), Viola Loeffelholz (Charles) and Dalvin Curtis (Pauline). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
