It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurie Johnson of Phelps, Wisconsin, born in Rogers City, Michigan, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlo Bruning and Iris Bruning; and her brother Bob. She is survived by: her husband Rick Johnson; her children, Billy Kerlina, Richie Kerr, Tina Chaney and Rebecca Johnson (Casey Mauth); and her siblings, Tom Bruning (Barb), Chuck Bruning (Peggy), Arlo Bruning, Mike Bruning, Julie Bahn, George Bruning (Rebecca) and Lynn Crawford.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church in Land O'Lakes or Lac Vieux Desert Lake Association.
