He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton Rodger and Betty Rodger (Wegert); and his brother Lloyd. He is survived by: his children, Cole Collins (Casey) and Hannah; his granddaughters, Charlotte and Naomi; and his siblings, Bruce Rodger (Kathryn), Ginny Blatchley Gaffney (Jack), Margie Rodger and Dolores Rodger. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
