He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Wendtland and Irma Wendtland (Delaney); his granddaughter Kailey Reál Wendtland; his brother Richy Wendtland; and his sisters-in-law, June Wendtland and Betty Wendtland.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Betker; his children, Brent Wendtland (Megan), Pauline Cass (Allen), Amy Steffensen (Jeff) and Stephanie Stark (Mark); his grandchildren, Brianna, Mason Wendtland, Samantha, Patrick, Lucas Schork, Aidan, Austin, Jasmine Steffensen, Remington and Christina Stark; his siblings, Oscar Wendtland Jr., Harry Wendtland, David Wendtland (Lynn) and Ginger Campfield (David); and his sister-in-law Mary Wendtland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
