She was predeceased by: her parents, George Warren Dunn and Lees Breckinridge Dunn. She is survived by: her siblings, George W. "Dusty" Dunn and Catherine "Kitty" Dunn Voell; her spouse Germany; and her children, James B. Ellis (Sharon) of Surprise, Arizona, Louise Robson (Dale) of Sheboygan Falls, Walter C. Ellis (Diane) of Oostburg and Catherine "Kate" Ryan of Madison. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A memorial fund is established in her name to benefit the Frontier Nursing Service in Leslie County, Kentucky, established by her aunt, Mary Breckinridge, in 1925.
