She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harold DeYoung and Cora DeYoung; her children, Mary Jo Velier (Gary) of Oostburg, Cheri Gahagan (Jeff) of Sheboygan, Bruce "Ed" Nyenhuis (Sue) of Oostburg and Brian Nyenhuis (Debbie) of Oostburg; her grandchildren, Jennifer Verduzco (Francisco), Kimberly Gibeault (Forrest), Tracy Johannsen (Randy), Jeremy Nyenhuis, Melissa Nyenhuis, Rebekah Nyenhuis, Peter Nyenhuis (Tianna) and Tom Nyenhuis (Jill); her siblings, Virginia VanStelle and Jack DeYoung (Shirley) of Madison; and her husband John W. Nyenhuis. She was also cherished by 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name are suggested to Oostburg Christian School or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
