He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brill and Evelyn Brill (Mentink); his sister Carol Brill; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Brill and Rich Verlare.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Huibregtse; his children, Mike Brill (Sandy), Heidi Riddiough (Brad) and Gina Kwiatkowski (David Jr.); his grandchildren, Erin Meulbroek (Andrew), Kaleigh Meinnert (Westley), Shannon Dulmes (Jacob), Nicole Kaat (Ross), Zach Riddiough (Lexi), Julia Kwiatkowski and Brandon Kwiatkowski; his siblings, Sam Brill and Mary Verlare; and his brother-in-law Charlie Huibregtse (Joan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
After retirement, his passion was making toys and over the years, donated 20, 000 to various restaurants and businesses to hand out to children.
