He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Dittman and Hazel Dittman (Huntington); and his siblings, William Jr., Arlene Hutson, Garland and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Amelia Lochner; and his children, Laura Nason (Brian) of Freedom, WI, Andrew Dittman (Abbie) of Onalaska and Alexandra Muehl (Bill) of Austin, TX. He is also survived by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Salvation Army of La Crosse, or to Norskedalen in Coon Valley.
