He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph and Gertrude; his wife Betty; his brother Fred; his son-in-law Chuck Wortman; and his siblings-in-law, Nick Kersch, Jr., Tony Kersch, Bill May and Evelyn May.

He is survived by: his children, Charlene Wortman of Chicago, IL, Christine Lee (Gene) of Aurora, CO., Carol Verburgt (Jim) of Omro and Katie Marquardt (Tom) of Oshkosh; his grandchildren, Melissa Domke, Dina Jones (Jay), Ryan Lee (Melissa), Gregg Lee, Jason Lee, Brandon Marquardt and Blake Marquardt; his great grandchildren, Miles, Ashlyn, Jarrett, Dylan, Emma and Henry; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Leitgeb of Mosinee. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
