He was predeceased by: his father Reuben Swanson; his brother Ken Swanson (Donna); and his brother-in-law Roger Myers. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Swanson; his daughter Tanya Peterson (Allen); his sisters, Marilyn Myers, Karen Gentz (Jerry), Shirley Henry (Fred) and Darlene Gokey (Dave); and his granddaughter Kylee Peterson.
