He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine; his sons, Roger Kopke of Joseph and Timothy Kopke; his grandsons, Ricky Kopke and Baby McDermid; and his siblings, Raymond and Bernadine Zimanek.

He is survived by: his children, Henry Kopke (Linda), Diane Kopke, Rita Garbrecht (Alan), Jane Specht (Michael) and Carol Kopke.
