He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schneible and Mabel Schneible (Stagner); his wife Claudia; his siblings, Beatrice, Mavis and Bill; and his nephews, Glen and Kurt.
He is survived by: his daughter Dawn (Dave Wetmore); his grandchildren, Ashley Herman (Ryan Brennan) and Amber Korthals (Nicholas); his great grandchildren, Dylan and Bella Korthals; and his nieces, Janice, Patty, Marie and Penny.
