She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hugo Jackola and Aili Jackola; her son Mitch; her husband Homer Roetman; her sister Esther Filson; her sons, Mitchel Sattler and Matthew Sattler (Sheila); her son-in-law Ron Trumble; her grandchildren, Jessica Carpentier (Allen), Kylie Sattler, Sydney Sherwood (Joe), Madison Sattler (Sam Reali) and Anna Sattler; the father of her children Myron Sattler (Mike); her sister Eileen Koski; her brother-in-law Gerald Filson; and her daughter Marcy Trumble. She was also cherished by many other family members and friends.
