He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl (Les) and Elsa; his wife Mary; his children, Colleen Boettcher (Mark), Donna Weston (Chris) and Kevin Knight (Carrie); his siblings, Carl (Lois) and Diane Knight (Don Szeliga); his grandchildren, Jackie Feagles (Justin), Kellyn Doerge (Stefan), Amanda Boettcher, Grant Boettcher, Samantha Weston, Colin Knight, Ellie Knight, Grace Weston, Erin Knight and Kathleen Knight; his great grandchildren, Emma, Ben, Addy, Alex, Luke Feagles, Logan, Parker, Cole Doerge, Emmett, Eleanor and Baby David; his close friend Camille Janowiak; and his pet Boots.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
