Elizabeth A. Dewall Obituary

Elizabeth Ann DeWall, age 64, entered into eternal life on December 21, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. Throughout her battle, she unfailingly made sure those around her were taken care of, and she somehow - no matter how hard she was fighting - made sure her visitors left with a smile and an "I love you". We grieve our loss, but we also remember, honor, and celebrate Beth's remarkable journey through life. Truly, to know Beth was to love her. The everlasting happiness that Beth brought into the world is immeasurable.

Beth lived her life offering her friends and family her warm smile and her whole heart, always selflessly gracing those she knew with her sincere, undying love. Her family was her world. She entered every situation with a positive outlook and wore her 'rose-colored glasses' each day of her life. Those who knew and loved Beth will struggle with the loss of her presence in our lives, but we may take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. Beth will live forever in our hearts and memories.

Beth was born to Mick and Judy Oettinger on November 24, 1957 and was married to her high school sweetheart Chuck DeWall on June 7, 1980. She is survived by her husband Chuck DeWall; daughter Tiffany (Harry) Iles and grandchildren Evelyn and Arabella (Ella); son Christopher (Angi) DeWall and grandchildren Jackson (Jack) and Hudson. Beth is further survived by her mother Judy (Berceau) Oettinger; her sister Amy (Todd) Verboomen, Logan Verboomen, Justin Long, and Brandon Long; and her brother Andy (Michelle) Oettinger, Austin (Keely) and Devin. Beth was preceded in death by her father, Mick Oettinger.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to UW Health Cancer Center at ProHealth Care in Mukwonago and Waukesha, and St. Croix Hospice for the inimitable comfort and care Beth received. Thank you.

A private service will be held with immediate family, and a full celebration of Beth's life will be planned for the summer of 2022. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in memory of Beth to No Kid Hungry or the MACC Fund.
