He was predeceased by: his parent Osborn Shackelford; and his sister Celestine O. "Tina" Shackelford-Butts. He is survived by: his mother Charlie Lu Shackelford (Milsap) of Moline, IL; his wife Cindy Shackelford; his children, Aaron Christopher Shackelford of Colorado Springs, CO, Lauren Baker (Justin) of Lakewood, CO and Andrea Maruska (Jacob) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Audrey and Bodhi Baker; his siblings, Osborn Shackelford (Denise) of Peoria, AZ and Karen Evans (Stanley) of Moline, IL; his nephew Aaron Shackelford of Phoenix, AZ; and his niece Kyesa Shackelford of Beloit, WI. He is also survived by many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Due to the pandemic, a Celebration of Life for Aaron will be held in the Spring of 2021.
Memorials may be given in his name to the American Heart Association.
