She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Eckel and Eva Eckel (Wirth); her husband Glenn Gladem; her daughter Linda Hendrickson; her grandson Charles Jones (Wade); her daughter-in-law Nadine Jones; her siblings, Elaine Reilly and Henry Eckel Jr.; her niece Sharon Moschkau; her nephew Steve Eckel; her mother-in-law Myrtle Adney (Gladem); and her sisters-in-law, Virginia Gerke and Delores Anderson (Lawrence).
She is survived by: her children, Charles Jones (Carol) of Blue Mounds, David Jones (Jill) of Boulder Junction and Toni Turnquist (David) of Edgerton; her grandchildren, Steve Erbe (Shawn) of Mount Horeb, Robert Hendrickson (Kathy) of Stone Lake, Melissa Legler (Keith) of Blanchardville, Jodi Rowley (Jason) of Rosendale, Holly Kellesvig (Steve) of Mount Horeb, Jana Hurda (Stacey) of Edgerton, Sarah Jacobson (Jeff) of Mount Horeb and Greg Jones (Traci) of Mount Horeb; her sister-in-law Beverly Eckel of Mount Horeb; her nephew Scott Eckel (Christine) of Madison; and her caregivers, Sarah, Kristen, Lisa, Aly, Melissa, Jodie, Abbi and Cassie. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter and two great-great-grandsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Hazel's honor to Springdale Lutheran Church in Mount Horeb, or Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.
