He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Hotchkiss and Rose Hotchkiss (Koscinski); his wife Maxine Drake; his children, Butch Hotchkiss and Nancy Meurette; his grandson Chad Hotchkiss; his great grandchild Treyden Kurtzweil; his children-in-law, Shar Hotchkiss and Tom Dooley; and his siblings, Aurelia Eckert, Maxine Grant, Irvin and Tommy.

He is survived by: his children, Allen Hotchkiss (Linda), Barbara Dooley, Robert Hotchkiss (Shelly), Dennis Hotchkiss (Donna) and Larry Hotchkiss (Debbie); and his sister Elaine Gitler. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
