He was predeceased by: his father Fred Maly; and his brother John Maly. He is survived by: his mother Lorraine Maly (Miller); his sisters, Cynthia Maly-Beranek (Richard) and Suzanne Epstein (William); his niece Jennifer Kaas (Robert); his nephews, Christopher Epstein and Matthew Beranek (Alisha); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isabella Kaas, Ella Beranek, Blake Beranek and Owen Kaas.
