He is survived by: his wife Mary "Tess" Schirmer; his son Michael Conrad Schirmer; his grandchildren, Alissa, Amanda, Carson and Caleb; his daughter Gaylene Joy Sears; his grandsons, Tyler and Logan; his son Timothy Carl Schirmer; his grandchildren, Cory, Karla, Dustin, Kaitlyn and Jordan; and his sisters, Marilyn, Barb, Deb and Gail. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
