It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyle Groat (Minong, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 3, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Groat and Rose Groat (Joas); and his siblings, Pauline Zimbrick (Frank), Lucille Lee (Ben), Dorothy Shue, Ronald, Frank (Beatrice) and Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis "Jean" Bush; his pet Tipper; his children, Richard (Dorine) of Rice Lake, Debby Weegman (Arne) of Rice Lake, Donald of Palm City, FL and Cheryl of Haugen; his grandchildren, Alex of Eau Claire, Daniel (Kiya) of Eau Claire, Lucas Weegman (Sasha) of Barronett, Randy of Rice Lake and Abby Weegman of Rice Lake; his great grandchild Zaida of Eau Claire; his friends, Barry Kaler and Duane Myers; and his sister-in-law Edith Groat (Ronald) of Alexandria, MN. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
