He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sr. Tracey and Vivian Tracey (Hanson); his brothers-in-law, Jim Baumer and John Youngthunder; and his father-in-law Walter Tollefson.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Cynthia J. Tollefson; his wife Cindy; his sons, Tim (Nicole) and Tom; his grandchildren, Sydney, Ben, Morgan, Ella, Jack, Lydia and John; his siblings, Betty Kirchner (Dale), Alice Baumer, Carol Paisley, Ruth Pfaff (Leon) and Sam Tracey (Pam); his mother-in-law Avonelle Tollefson; and his close friend Oliver. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; good friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial are preferred to go to the Mindoro Lutheran Church or to Palliative Care at Gundersen Health System or to the donor's choice in place of flowers and plants.
