She was predeceased by: her son Dale Blaser; her sister Margaret Hagen; and her half-siblings, Gladys Cohen and Harry Damrow. She is survived by: her husband Robert H. Blaser; her children, Diana Shadel, Dawn Benash (Jeff) and Dean Blaser; her grandchildren, Dale "Buck" Blaser (Stephanie), Kelly Blaser (Steve Ziebell), Jason Benash (Jessie), Kris Cox (Chad), Steph Shadel and Ryan Shadel; and her sister Carol Dahlberg. She is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Shirley's name to the Milton Public Library.
