He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dubats and Ethel Dubats (Alft); his wife Patty (Kraus); his brother William "Bill" Dubats; and his brother-in-law Vince Bruce.
He is survived by: his son John William Dubats (Jack); his siblings, Charles "Chuck" Dubats, Susan "Sue" McKendry (John), Annie Dubats and Rose Bowman (David); and his sister-in-law Jan Dubats. He is also survived by many extended family and close friends.
