He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Krofta and Mary Krofta (Kraus); his wife Florence; and his siblings, Sylvester Krofta (Joan), Norbert Krofta, James Krofta, Mary Ellen Schultz (Clarence), Leona Buresh (Frank), Anna Frechette and Joan Krofta.

He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Fries (Ken); his grandson Matthew Pufall (Lindsey); his sisters, Joyce Bavry of Manitowoc, Audrey Harvey (Roy) of Ogdensburg and Arlene Muehlenberg of Green Lake; and his sister-in-law Carol Schiller of Verona. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
