He was predeceased by: his parents, John Macaulay and Norma Macaulay (Miller); his significant other Shirley Macaulay (Campbell); his son Kent; his sister Nancy Gall; and his siblings-in-law, William Malloy, James Brandt, Marvin Kittle, Conrad Curtin, Donald Fishler and Jean Curtin.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy Courtney, Karen LaMere (Clement), Kevin Macaulay (Terry), Kean Macaulay and Kraig Macaulay; his sisters, Barbara Malloy, Deanna Brandt and Sharon Kittle; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Kusinski (Ed) and Thomas Gall; and his grandchildren, Kelly Wallace (Brian), Christina Gordon (Nate), Jon Macaulay (Heather), Allen Macaulay (Leslie), Matt Macaulay (Brianna), Jennifer Garske (Scott), Alyssa (Allmen), Katelyn Barreau (Ahna) and Daniel Macaulay (Samantha). He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
