She is survived by: her children, Ray Esser (Mary) of Verona, Diane Transue (Butch) of Stoughton, Ron Esser (Pam Hardy) of Waunakee and Richard Esser of Middleton; her grandchildren, Tammie Arbuckle (Andy) of Belleville, Jamie Esser of Cross Plains, Brian Esser (Melissa) of Belleville, Nathan Esser (Tanya) of New Berlin, Benjamin Esser of Waunakee, Zachary, Jenna and Jayden Esser of Waunakee; her great grandchildren, Hunter Haavind, Ryan, Aaron Arbuckle, Kyle, Kaylie, Kennedi, Thea and Layla Esser; her sister Virginia Karls (Edmund); and her sister-in-law Ruth Maerz. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
