He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Mauritz and Yvonne Mauritz (Klemmer); and his wife Susan Rhyner. He is survived by: his son Gerald Supljika (Inge); his grandchildren, Manuel, Ayleen and Annalena Supljika; his great grandchild Melia; his sister Marie Kusy (Tony); his brother-in-law Albert Schnyder; his nieces and nephews, Kathy Bidwell, Anne Long (Bert), Robert Schnyder (Melissa), Scott Nigl (Molly) and Anton Kusy (Kristin); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aaron, Alyssa Bidwell, Matthew, Erik Nigl, Claire, Bennett Long, Tyler, Joe and Jen Schnyder.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to the Dane County Humane Society or Badger Honor Flight.
