With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth Rundle (Middleton, Wisconsin), born in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on May 25, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Schmidt and Dora Schmidt (Esser); her husband Ronald Rundle; her daughter Linda VanDenBergh; her grandchildren, Kevin Rundle Jr. and Savanah Marie Rundle; and her siblings, Tina Nelson (Hap), Marge Wolters (Henry), Joe Schmidt (Theresa), Dorothy, Ben Schmidt (Theresa), Clarence Schmidt (Arlene), Eugene Schmidt (Irene), Bernice Rosendahl (John), Delores Bernarde (Ted), Ruth Stern (Wally), Mary Jean Runkel (Bill), Ralph Schmidt (Natalie) and Helen Sennott (John).

She is survived by: her children, Sue Lewis (Tom) of Stoughton, Deb Sanftleben (Jim) of Hollandale, Bill Rundle (Kris) of Evansville, Cindy VanDenBergh Jr. (Louie) of Middleton, Rollie Rundle (Sherry) of Black Earth, Randy Rundle (Tina) of Byron, Ill and Kevin Rundle (Karen) of Mazomanie; her son-in-law James VanDenBergh; and her brother Dan Schmidt (Helen). She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren.

Due to the pandemic, private family services will be held.
