She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Babler and Emma Babler (Wyss); and her brothers, Don and Allan Babler. She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Shippy; her children, Mark Shippy and Melinda Rammer (Steve); her grandsons, Gabriel and Ozric Rammer; and her sister Beverly Hilliard (Darrell). She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
