He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sardar Banta Singh and Bibi Shyam Kaur; his children, Balwinder Singh Seerha, Surinder Kaur and Jasvir Singh; and his wife Harbhajan Kaur. He was also cherished by three children.
