He was predeceased by: his wife Apollonia Bollenbeck; his daughter Rosemary; his siblings, Esther, Walter and Paul; and his sisters-in-law, Magdalene Acker, Delores Acker and Theresa Acker.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Acker (Mary Jo), Diane Dohse (Wayne), Jean Frisch, Stephen Acker, Michael Acker, Stanley Acker (Marlies) of Redgranite, Gerald Acker (Jeanine) of Middleton and Richard Acker (Darlene) of Middleton; his brothers, Henry Acker, Jr. of Waunakee and Linus Acker of Middleton; his sister-in-law Lucille Acker of Middleton; and also Award. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Agrace HospiceCare or St. Bernard Catholic Church in Middleton.
