He was predeceased by: his parents, John Stark and Edith Stark (Beglinger); his brother John; his sister-in-law Avalyn Stark; his brother Robert "Bobby" Stark; his brother-in-law Don Haugen; and his granddaughter Diana Lynn Stark.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Kessenich; his children, Jane Sewell (Robert) of Omaha, Neb., John Stark (Debi) of Midland City, Ala. and Lee Stark (Janice) of Neenah, Wis.; his grandchildren, David Stark (Carrie) of Montgomery, Ala. and Megan Compton (Andrew) of Midland City, Ala.; his great grandchildren, Ella, Felicity Stark and Liam Compton; and his sister Beverly Haugen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding COVID-19, there will be a private service in the future.
