He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Spears and Margaret Spears; his brothers, Robert and Herbert; and his son Todd Spears.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Dean Spears (Jean) and Tammy LaRene (Trevor); and his grandchildren, Bennett, Ethan LaRene (Rebecca), Tasha and Todd Spears.
