He was predeceased by: his father Melvin Sr. Kufahl; his sister Susan Kufahl; and his brother-in-law James Hodgson. He is survived by: his wife Cindee Barry of Merrill; his sons, Paul Kufahl (Jessica) of Weston and Joshua Kufahl (Amanda) of Green Bay; his granddaughters, Kinley and Johanna; and his siblings, Betty Tewes, Robert Tewes (Stephanie), Marilyn Hodgson, Melvin Jr. Kufahl (Sharon) and Chris Kufahl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mike's name to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
