He is survived by: his brother Jim Hooven of Roanoke; his wife Jeannette Young (Young); and his children, Jeff (Beth) of Virginia Beach, Cheryl Schillinger (David) of Colona, Laura Sierra (Joseph) of East Moline and Marc R. (Jill Pearson) of Minneapolis. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
