She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Kroll and Irene Kroll (Kohn); her husband Bruce Schield; her grandson Mitchell Fruend; her sisters, Janice Achter (Daniel) and Jalayne Kroll; and her brother-in-law Glen Reschke.
She is survived by: her children, Kristen Schefdore (John) of Merrill, Sarah Thomas (Matt) of Chanhassen, Minnesota, John Thiel of Irma and Michael Thiel of Wausau; her grandchildren, Katie Heuer (John), Brian Fruend (Felicia), Terra Holdridge (Nick), Jason Thiel (Ashley), Jesse, Caryn, ShyAnne, Ben, Madison, Nate and Owen; her great grandchildren, Alphonse, Miles, Conner, Hanna, Lexi, Evalynn, Rosie, Anthony, Harrison, Charlotte, Brett, Taylor and Jaden; her siblings, Joan Reschke of Las Vegas, Janelle Mueller (Wilmer) of New Holstein, Jeffrey Kroll (Linda) of Van Dyne, Joel Kroll (Barb) of Fond and Lac; her siblings-in-law, Dennis and VerJean Schield; and her nephew Brent of Tomahawk.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes any memorials would be made to Bell Tower Residence or St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
