It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern L. Zastrow of Merrill, Wisconsin, born in Berlin, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Grueneberg and Viola Grueneberg (Wilde); her husband Leo Zastrow; her son Gene; her brother Lloyd; and her sister-in-law Doris Grueneberg.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Balz (Gary) of Marathon, Charles Zastrow of Merrill and Judy Blaubach (Ken) of Wausau; her grandchildren, Scott Balz of Marathon, Steven Balz (Denise) of Marathon, Tracy Gertschen (Jeremy) of Marathon, Mike Blaubach (Angie) of Wausau, Bob Blaubach (Andrea) of Wausau and Michelle Blaubach of Wausau; and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan (McKenize), Brianna (Adam), Brooke (Jordan), Brett, Ashley, Connor, Cameron, Bryce and Breck. She is also survived by her son's and great grandson.
