It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Curtis B. Whitson (Merrill, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 18, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Whitson and Clara [Bauer] Whitson; his former wife Laura Toshach; his parents-in-law, Barbara Toshach, Don and Bev Pickering; and his niece Joanna.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Pickering; his children, Russell (Amber), Natalie, Amanda (Ryan), Daniel, Leah (Cody) and Sarah; his grandchildren, Joshua, Carly, Marley, Alyce, Kennedy and Blake; and his brother Craig (Jan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
