He is survived by: his wife Audrey Pophal of Merrill; his children, Carl 'Butch' Pophal III (Penny), Audra Bohman (Mike), Keith Pophal and Kevin Pophal (Lisa Beresford); his grandchildren, Pamuela Albrecht (Mike), Jason Pophal (Taylor), Beth Maurisak (Josh), Kyle Bohman (Abby), MiKayla Bohman, Jonathan Summerfeldt, Brandon Pophal (Allison), Aiden Koebe, Stephen Pophal and Alexia Pophal; his great grandchildren, Grant, Markus, Colleen, Lexi, Emily, Kathryn, Hunter, Kenna, Alivia, Leo and Matthew; his sister Beverly Kleist of Merrill; and his siblings-in-law, Trude Pophal of Minnesota and Paul Mussell of Merrill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
