Sylvia G. McDiarmid Obituary

(nee Biwer) Of Menomonee Falls. Born to eternal life May 10, 2023 at the age of 96. Her life began at her family home August 18, 1926. She graduated from Pius H.S. where she met her husband Riley. She and Riley were members of St. Mary Parish in Menomonee Falls since 1953 where she served as the first parish secretary. Her life priorities were Faith, Family and Friendships. Her many accomplishments included singing in the archdiocese choir and in Carnegie Hall with her two daughters. Throughout her long life she helped many live their best life.

Loving mother of Gwen (Paul) Middeke, Karen McDiarmid, and Stephen (Chris) McDiarmid. Proud grandma of Chris, Tyler, Mary and Evan along with Monica and Cody, Jason, Jessica and Jeff. In addition, each of her great-grandchildren added joy to her life. Sylvia is also survived by her sister, Corrine Sokol, and many nieces and nephews who enriched her later years.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband Riley and grandson Jerry Lee with whom she shared a birthday.

Visitation at St. Mary Mother of God Parish, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave. Menomonee Falls, on Wednesday, May 17 from 9:30 AM until Mass of Christian Burial is celebrated at 10:30 AM. Burial to follow at the church cemetery.
