Mary Ann Ries Obituary

Mary Ann Lauer-Ries, age 76, passed away on November 27, 2023. She was the wife of Donald Ries. They shared 37 years of marriage together.

She was born in Menomonee Falls Wisconsin and was the daughter of LaVern and Florence Lauer. She attended the University of Wisconsin Steven point. She was employed at Ries Graphics for over 27 years.

She was a member of St. Mary Church. She enjoyed cooking, quilting, travel, her dogs and her family. She will be remembered for her optimism and her infectious laugh.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Ries, children Ann Marie Ronsman (Matt), Angela Echeverria and Justin Sandberg (Carrie) and grandchildren Luke, Nora, Lily, Drew, Lauren, Allison and Claire. She was predeceased by her parents Florence and LaVern Lauer and her sister Shirley Bridges.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday December 5 at St. Mary Mother of God Church, N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls at 10 AM. Visitation will be at the church from 9 AM until the time of Mass. Burial will follow Mass at St. Mary Mother of God Cemetery in Menomonee Falls.
