Words of sympathy

Jon Pfeiffer wrote a sympathy message

“April 21, 2024 Mark, We went to grade school together and got reacquainted in college at UW-Madison. I noticed your name as I was walking down the hall in Witte B dorm during registration week in August of 1985. We got to be good friends again. I lived with you and we worked together in 1987. I was in a severe car wreck in 1999. This morning I found a book my mother had by my hospital bed and you wrote in it. Did not know you came to see me until today. Hope to see you fishing again someday.”
